You can think of a Workplace Label as a short-form version of the Supplier Label. There are only 3 elements that must be provided in the label:
Product Identifier - This name must match what is on the Safety Data Sheet (SDS)
Precautionary Statements - It is possible to also use pictograms as part of the precautionary statement however it is not a requirement
Reference to SDS - It is only necessary to have a reference to the fact that an SDS is available
Below are three different examples of a Workplace Label, each of them is correct and valid.
The labels must be easy to read and durable. Often you will find that the supplier will give prepared labels for use if you move their chemicals into another container. If you are uncertain if a label if required or the label is damaged speak with your supervisor.
